8 Quick Apply Full-time 11 hours ago Full Job Description The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset Staff Development At The Hamlet, residents are treated to a complete spectrum of Rehab Services and Clinical/Nursing Care.
We provide the next generation of Hi-Tech, Hi-Touch comprehensive care that meets the specialized physical, clinical and emotional needs of every individual that comes through our doors.
Our specialized in-house programs include short-term subacute Rehab and long-term care, short-term post hospitalization and post acute care, as well as Adult Day Health Services.
At Nesconset we are moving away from the institutional model of healthcare and towards the progressive philosophy that patients care plans should be defined by their unique circumstances.
Our modern 240 bed facility features an expansive subacute Rehab division with a focus on personalized care.
Every aspect of The Hamlet was designed with our residents in mind.
We have created a comfortable and supportive environment that promotes a holistic approach and fosters independence.
Each unit has its own centralized nurses' station to facilitate observation and a quick response to our residents' needs.
We are in search of qualified candidates to fill open positions & to be part of the The Hamlet team.

Ensure that all employees remain in compliance with all Federal and State regulations Monitor and report challenges to Director of Nursing Conduct new hire orientation to educate all staff on policies and procedures Qualifications/Requirements:
RN license of New York State Experience in Long Term Care Nursing or has sufficient acute care experience to adjust to the demands of Long Term Care Nursing Possess clinical knowledge and skill in nursing practices and regulatory standards.
A team player, cooperative with co-workers of all disciplines.
Able to function both under supervision and independently, when situations warrant.
Able to communicate tactfully and effectively with physicians, supervisors, staff and other disciplines.
Flexible to special staffing or clinical situations which may require deviations from the usual work pattern, Maintains privacy and confidentiality Must be computer literate and possess strong organizational skills.
