POSITION SUMMARY:

The Engineering Manager will actively demonstrate and drive the use of robust engineering processes and documentation by:


??????? Leading the engineering team to produce new products and to respond to new vehicle launches, new markets, and new product applications;


??????? Encouraging the growth and development of all Engineering personnel;


??????? Collaborating with all departments to drive increased profitability and customer satisfaction;


??????? Working with the Product Managers and Divisional Management to develop project scope and priorities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

????????Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.


????????Ability to perform field diagnostics and work with external suppliers and customers to diagnose product issues.


????????Maintains a working knowledge of the latest codes and new developments in testing and examination methods of processes, materials, and products.



  • Experience working with suppliers and customers to create solutions for custom customer applications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor?s degree in engineering related field with 10+ years of product design experience in a manufacturing setting. BA in Electrical Engineering is preferred

  • Design experience with electro/mechanical products and control systems.

  • Proven track record of successful product development and new product launches.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Master?s degree in Engineering

  • Product Development Stage Gate Experience

  • Strong product design experience

  • Quality Management System experience


LANGUAGE SKILLS:


????????Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.?



  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.?

  • Strong experience in engineering software packages, design processes, organizational methods, project management / planning and cost analysis.?


?MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:


????????Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.?


????????Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.


?REASONING ABILITY: ???????


????????Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


????????Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.



COMPUTER SKILLS:


????????Will use computer-assisted engineering, design, analysis and testing software.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
